5 Steps to Target & Manage Your Psoriasis

Is your psoriasis driving you mad?
Are your joints stiff and painful?
Are you sick of feeling sick?

Dr Irene Prantalos (Chinese Medicine) knows what it is like to live with psoriasis. After years of suffering, Dr Prantalos (Chinese Medicine) has devised a simple 5 Step Process that anyone can practice regardless of the current treatment(s) they are using**. The course covers eight weeks, and guides participants through how to create real, positive change in your body by facilitating a healthier mind and healing the body from its diseased state*.

“I’ve spent over 20 years looking for ways to manage the psoriasis that totally took over my body. There was a lot of trial and error and hundreds of thousands of dollars spent trialing anything that claimed it could help psoriasis. Fast forward to today, I decided to package what actually worked into this online program, 5 Steps to Live Psoriasis Free***. This was extremely important for me to do so, as I struggled to understand why this was happening to me. If I could take all the positive therapies that worked for me and share this to help anyone else get off this psoriatic disease roller coaster and start managing their psoriasis, then perhaps there was a reason for all those tough years I had.

This program, helps you make the key changes you need to make to your diet and lifestyle. Personally, I understand this process takes time and that is why you have life-time access so that your transformation occurs step by step at the pace your body needs to heal from within.”

** We do not recommend you stop your treatment and always consult your doctor for any health concerns or medical conditions.

*** The term Live Psoriasis Free is used to indicate the continued management of psoriasis. By no way is it claiming psoriasis is curable or will this program cure this diseased state.

“Psoriasis has been a part of my life for the past 18 months or so, although I’ve experienced over-active auto-immune issues throughout adulthood. I’ve always depended on western medicine and prescription medications to control issues that I’ve always known, deep in my heart, were caused by poor eating habits. I was inspired by your experience to begin this program.”

Jess

“In advance, thank you for sharing your experience, and your knowledge, with so many of us who are in need.”

Online Program FAQs

Do I need to complete this in 8 weeks?
You can take as long as you need to do this program. I do encourage you to move through this online program at a steady pace as each step will help you to reduce inflammation in your body. I understand at times we need to take a moment and familiarise ourselves with new behaviours so taking it at your own pace is strongly encouraged.
I’m on biologics, will I have to stop my medication?
Absolutely not. It is never a good idea to stop medications especially something like a biologic. The aim of this program is to encourage a diet and lifestyle that reduces inflammation in the body. Psoriatic disease is exacerbated with inflammation. So this program will make any treatment work better based on less inflammation in the body and a healthy digestive system and mindset.
My dermatologist said that I can’t cure psoriasis but you are saying you can?
Your dermatologist is correct, psoriatic disease is genetic so at this stage there is no cure. When we talk about living psoriasis free, it is all about changing the way you eat and live so that your body is healthy and there is no inflammation. Just because there is no cure, it doesn’t mean we need to remain sick. What it does mean is that we need to adjust our actions to encourage a healthy body and eliminate what triggers this disease so that we reduce the frequency and intensity of flare ups. To simply say there is no cure and you must stay on immune-suppressant medications does nothing to deal with the disease but simply takes you awareness away for a short period of time.

Psoriatic disease is linked to diabetes, heart disease and stroke which can all be terminal. By living your life the anti-inflammatory way means you will be preventing the possibility of such diseases from developing. Although there is the genetic factor in play, what we do and how we live is just as important if not more important.

Will I have to eat this way forever?

As I mentioned above, this is a genetic disease so we can’t simply remove that gene from our body. But I can personally guarantee you that when you see the changes and you start to feel healthy and fit and start enjoying life to its fullest, it wont be at all difficult continuing this way of eating.

Will I lose weight on this?
This isn’t a weight lose program but many people have commented on losing weight. Our eating plan encourages healthy food and clean eating without the added sugars and refined carbohydrates. If you typically eat this way, then a new way of eating does lead to weight lose. If you are of a healthy weight range, then I always encourage people to eat small meals but frequently and typically make it a protein/vegetable based meal.
I have eczema can I do this course?

Absolutely. Eczema is a skin condition that is exacerbated by inflammation in the skin. Although there are key differences in eczema and psoriasis, this program will help both conditions very well. In fact, this program is suited for people with digestive diseases as well such as IBS, Crohn’s and Colitis as there is a link with poor digestion and psoriatic disease.

I’m vegetarian/vegan, can I still do this online program?
Due to the dietary changes needed to reduce inflammation in the body many meals do have meat in them. However, you could simply omit the meat component and make them vegetarian. As for dairy, we do have a recipe to make your own dairy free yoghurt and eggs are sometimes on the menu however, this can be simply changed for something else such as our Brown Rice Pancakes.
Will I have to quit alcohol, coffee, sugar and all the other tasty stuff?

The foundation of this program is to reduce inflammation in the body and make it more alkaline so that the psoriatic disease will no longer present. Alcohol, sugar, coffee, cakes and so on are all inflammatory foods so they are discouraged. For the best results* we encourage cleansing for week one and this is a great way to detox the body and reduce cravings from such foods and beverages. Rome wasn’t built in a day and these changes to your body* won’t happen over night but the important thing is to start today and work towards having a healthier body for the long term.

Will I be completely cured in 8 weeks?

As we have said previously, psoriatic disease is incurable. The program is structured to help you make healthier choices around nutrition and lifestyle. There are also many variables when it comes to someone’s health. Most probably you will need the guidance of a health care practitioner during this time to get the most out of this program.  The 8-week program gives you all the tools you need to get yourself healthy and reduce inflammation in the body. But the truth is this can take a lot longer for some compared to others. Remember your journey of ill health has many lessons in it and so does the journey of becoming healthy again. Take your time, do each stage to the best of your ability, come back to it if you feel you need to re-visit it and constantly keep connected with us as we each have been through this and understand all the obstacles you will face along the way.

How long will I have access?

Forever. Life time access to this program is essential as it will help you through any set backs or flare ups you may experience. So take your time and we are here to support you along the way.
